UNDERSTANDING GEOGRAPHICAL ISSUES
We have explored lots of geographical issues this year.
Our theme, "Respect our World" has incorporated so many different issues; from the Fairtrade assembly led by Y5 and 6, to our visitor from the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and our fundraising for orphaned African elephants.
We have learnt so much about single use plastic and the damage plastics are causing, particularly in the oceans.  We were so inspired we have joined the Plastic Free School initiative run by Surfers Against Sewage.  Here are some photos from...

...PIRATES AGAINST PLASTIC DAY
Beech Tree Class had a fantastic day at Goodrington Sands exploring the beach and rock pools, looking for sea creatures, shells and learning about the coastal environment.
