We visited Plymouth university and met Cub, the bear. We wrote and published our own book.

WATCHING THE TOUR OF BRITAIN

We were so excited to discover that The Tour of Britain was coming to Totnes. We were lucky enough to go and watch - we were very enthusiastic supporters.

We've started off the term by becoming experts in renewable energy. We visited a wind turbine, solar farm and reverse Archimedes screw to find out how to generate power in a clean and renewable way.

RENEWABLE ENERGY WORKSHOPS

We have been involve in a whole day of workshops centered around Renewable Energy. We made circuits using lemons. We also investigated solar panels. We made wind turbines and finally had a go at simulating a reverse Archimedes Screw. We had a fantastic day.

We visited Totnes Museum to explore their collection of Victorian artefacts. It was amazing!

MOTHS TO A FLAME

We have been involved in the Moths to a Flame Project and we made our moths today to raise awareness for the importance of caring for our environment. They will be flying their way to Glasgow to take part in the COP26 conference. We will be recording messages too.
