Peripatetic Music Lessons at The Grove
We have independent music providers who teach during school hours and most musical instruments can be taught.
Please read the 'Missed lessons due to absence policy' and the 'Music learning agreement' documents at the bottom of this page.
PIANO, FLUTE AND SINGING - STEPHANIE BULLOCK
I am a music graduate offering lessons in Singing, Piano, and Flute, incorporating music theory within each lesson.
I have ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal School of Music) Grades in Flute, Clarinet, Piano and Singing and a BA Hons degree in Music performance. For the last 4 years I have been teaching privately from home and have recently entered students into ABRSM music exams with 100% success rate. For those wishing to enter exams when they are ready I do so via ABRSM.
As a parent myself I know the importance of letting you know how your child is progressing. I do this via a practice diary, so that it is always clear what your child is working on and how they are doing.
I am passionate about music and the benefits it can bring to children. I believe music should be accessible for all. Lessons will be productive but kept fun and friendly, with music theory alongside their instrument to give pupils a well-rounded knowledge of music.

I incorporate music theory into every lesson to help build strong musical foundations. I have 100% success rate through the ABRSM should students wish to work through the grades. Exams are highly recommended, but optional.
GUITAR LESSONS - STEVE DOW
Telephone: 07947 307990
My approach to teaching in schools focuses on including music theory within each lesson to ensure new students understand the language of music.
I emphasise the importance of learning to read musical notation. I believe this creates a solid foundation upon which further musical development can be built.
I set out clear objectives for each lesson with a structured lesson plan and I provide weekly feedback to parents via a practice diary to identify the student's strengths and areas that require more focused development and practice.
VIOLIN LESSONS - JACQUI RIEDLINGER B.A.(Hons) Music Adv Cert ‘Performance and Communication Skills’
I am offering violin lessons at The Grove School, starting in the summer term 2021. I can teach children, beginners to advanced levels, and I always aim to provide a fun and enjoyable time. Alongside learning the technique to be able to play, my lessons involve learning to read music, progression and confidence building through learning new exciting pieces, and I can enter and accompany pupils for Associated Board Grade Music Exams if required.
