Year 3 and 4 took part in an exhibition across Dartmoor to find the Legendary Bowerman's Nose.
Their map work skills were AMAZING!

Year 3 and 4 have been planning routes and walking around Totnes using their maps.
They will be writing Tourist Information Leaflets for the Library......

Years 5 and 6 have been learning about rivers, coasts and the water cycle.
KS1 LOCAL GEOGRAPHY
Years 1 and 2 have been on a walk around the local area, taking in the High Street, Leisure Centre, River Dart, the bird hide at Dartington and the steam railway station.

UNDERSTANDING GEOGRAPHICAL ISSUES
We have explored lots of geographical issues this year.
Our theme, "Respect our World" has incorporated so many different issues; from the Fairtrade assembly led by Y5 and 6, to our visitor from the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and our fundraising for orphaned African elephants.
We have learnt so much about single use plastic and the damage plastics are causing, particularly in the oceans. We were so inspired we have joined the Plastic Free School initiative run by Surfers Against Sewage. Here are some photos from...
