Welcome to the Year 3/4 Ginkgo class page
Welcome to the Gingko Tree class webpage. We've made a super start and are really looking forward to an exciting year.
Our first topic is the Stone Age.
Here's some photos or our archaeological dig where we found some Stone Age artefacts.
Have a go at some of our favourite numeracy games. They're great for improving your numerical skills.
Below are links to some of the games we've been using in our learning.
To practice cursive handwriting, click on the link below (remember, you'll need your username and login which you can ask for at school).
Our Science topic this term is rocks, which of course ties in nicely with our Stone Age topic. Here we are organising rocks into igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic groups.
We visited Kent's Cavern and became experts in the Stone Age and archaeology.
This term we're learning to play tag rugby in PE. Check out the photos of our tag rugby festival at KEVICC.
We investigated various fossils and skulls from prehistoric times. The woolly mammoth tooth was as big as our heads!
We had a go at making stone age axes in Forest School.
We became experts in Stonehenge. Check out Evie's model.
Milly made an excellent video all about Stonehenge.
Here are our finished stone age axes.
We had great fun with Kip and some Plymouth University students. We learnt all about rounds and put them to music.
We have been learning about Islam this term and even had a visit from an Imam. We learnt loads!
