Dear Parents and Carers,
Below, we outline what you can expect from us for your child each day. The provision for different groups across the school are different to meet the needs of different aged children. There is also differing provision for individuals due to their specific needs and vulnerability.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS FACE TO FACE CONTACT AND SUPPORT PROVIDED FOR CHILDREN AND THAT INFORMATION ABOUT HOW TO ACCESS THIS IS GIVEN THROUGH SEESAW OR TAPESTRY. PLEASE LOOK OUT FOR THIS INFORMATION AND MAKE USE OF THIS PROVISION.

In Reception the following learning will be provided:
Set at the start of the week:
Rising Stars reading – children’s ongoing provision
5 x physical activities
3 x topic activities
1. Literacy and Numeracy stimuli/ inputs will be posted on a daily basis. These will be videoed when relevant and purposeful.
2. Differentiated phonics activities will be posted on a daily basis.
3. A daily story time video will be posted.
Keeping in Touch Zoom sessions weekly:
· 2x keeping in touch sessions with Teacher and home learners.
· 1x whole class assembly
Y1/2
Every day learning:
This will be communicated via a variety of methods depending on the most effective method for the children. This comprises of recorded lessons, live sessions and use of commercial sites like White rose maths, Oak Academy and the BBC as examples.
Paper copies can be provided if needed.
1x Phonics/spelling/literacy lesson
1x numeracy
1x physical activity
1x topic
3 reading books allocated to each child each week
Also Monday - Thursday an additional learning task will be set:
Monday – PSHE
Tuesday - Spanish
Friday- R.E
Story time zoom 4 x a week
Individual and small group zooms are available on an invite basis to meet individual needs.

Y3/4
Every day learning:
1x literacy
} video input when relevant and purposeful
1x numeracy
1x physical activity
1x topic (covering all subjects over a two-week period)
1x daily reading
Also on each day of the week an additional learning task will be set:
Monday – Spelling task
Tuesday - Spanish
Wednesday – RE
Thursday – Handwriting
Friday – PSHE/Art/Music task
On a Friday spellings are still being set for home learning and children are encouraged to practise them in the spelling task on Monday as well as on their own on Tuesday.
On Wednesday we ask them to do their own spelling quiz at home of their words
Zooms: zoom 4x per week minimum open to all in class and an extra daily zoom for interventions/targeted groups.
Y5/6
Every day learning:
1x literacy with video input every day
1x numeracy with video input every day
1x physical activity
1x topic
1x daily reading
1 x spellings
Also on each day of the week an additional learning task will be set:
Monday – Religious Education
Tuesday - Spanish
Wednesday – a longer writing task and phonics/spelling
Thursday – Personal Social Health Economic task
Friday –Our school scheme of handwriting – Letterjoin
3 x 1-hour zoom sessions each day (2 in morning and 1 in afternoon) This will provide face to face contact between child and teacher/TA and would ensure that a child will be supported at least through their literacy and numeracy tasks.
